MSI continues to redesign its range of gaming-oriented laptops to always maintain the premise of using the latest technologies. And now keeping the continuity they have announced the two new products. That are : GP62X and the GP72X Leopard Pro , two teams of 15.6 and 17.3 inches respectively that promise the game performance that is comparable to any desktop gaming system.
As usual this time MSI announces a new series of laptops with hardware of both with exactly the same configurations. So the only thing that differentiates them is the size of the screen. Also this time they offer, as always, the two most common options for users. Who can choose the one that suits them.
As for this Leopard Pro family, the main feature that sets them apart from many other laptops is the implementation of a Full HD LED-IPS panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and only 5 ms of Time response. So making it an excellent choice for any type of game experience since the new laptops has greatly reduced the tearing and jittering. Although it is true that they have not mentioned that these are compatible with G-Sync or FreeSync.
The MSI GP62X and GP72X Leopard Pro
Let’s talk about the internal hardware. To ensure the best performance, MSI has equipped these computers with the latest generation of Intel Kaby Lake 7th generation processors. That is accompanied by 16GB DDR4 RAM (expandable to 32GB) and NVIDIA GeForce GT 1060 to provide excellent performance in games. All this is complemented by the inclusion of a PCI-Express solid state device with NVMe protocol that assures theoretical speeds up to 2,200 MB / s.
In addition to the innovations that also presents this new family of Leopard Pro with respect to the previous ones is the renovation of the keyboard. However it is still manufactured by SteelSeries, but it is a new version that has a brighter RGB illumination. So that has the individually configurable lighting via the SteelSeries Engine 3 software.
