MSI, a recognized manufacturer of gaming equipment, has released a new version of its MSI Infinity X Desktop. It mounts ninth-generation Intel CPUs, up to an i9-9900K, and Nvidia RTX series graphics cards, up to an Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti, on a Z370 chipset and surprises us that he has used the newer Z390 instead.
It mounts 4 modules RAM DDR4 from 2400 Mhz compatible up to 64 GB; That in addition to the two units SSD M.2, and support for Intel Optane, mounted in RAID 0, receives a reading speed of up to 3.3 Gb per second. At the storage level, we can configure up to two hard drives of 3.5″ and one hard drive / SSD of 2.5″ so that you have enough space for what you want.
The MSI Infinity X 9th mounts the new Intel I9 9900k. As many of you know, it is the top of the i9 series, and along with the Z370 chipset will allow us to overclock to the last MHz of our new PC. We don’t have to worry about the power dissipation as it has “Silent Storm Cooling 3” liquid cooling installed. MSI promises that this cooling is quieter than a library and is able to cool the PC to temperatures it can handle.
There are two power supply options, a simpler 550W model with 80 PLUS Bronze certification and a top of the line 850W series model with 80 PLUS Platinum certification. In terms of efficiency, we strongly recommend that those who make the payout choose the 850W.
Inside a black case and the option of the side case made of tempered glass or black opaque, shows (or hides) an RGB lighting to have the light color that you like more and highlights your components and brings Windows 10 Home pre-installed to start using directly.
We still don’t know how high the price is and its availability, but as MSI will officially launch Infinity X 9 in the next few weeks, we will have more information.
