Coolaler has filtered out the latest specifications for the 9th generation Intel desktop processor family. This source that has been legitimate with its previous leaks mentions the specifications of three 9000 series chips, the i9-9900K, i7-9700K and Core i5-9600K.
Core i9-9900K, i7-9700K, and Core i5-9600K – We know the full specifications of these CPUs
According to the leak, Intel will have at least three `K’ series CPUs. These would include the Core i9-9900K, Core i7-9700K flagship, both 8-core, and the Core i5-9600K 6-core. All three processors are designed for the new Z390 motherboards, but based on recent leaks, we will also achieve compatibility with the latest generation Z370 motherboards. The specifications of the three new processors are as follows:
Intel Core i9-9900K (8 cores / 16 wires)
Intel Core i7-9700K (8 cores / 8 wires)
Intel Core i5-9600K (6 cores / 6 wires)
Intel Core i9-9900K has 8 cores and 16 threads, the first Intel chip with this many desktop cores. In terms of cache, the chip will have 16 MB of L3 and will come with an Intel UHD 620 graphics chip. Its value would be $450.
The Core i7 has 8 cores and 8 wires. This is the complete opposite of what we’ve been hearing since previous rumors identified the chip as having 6 cores and 12 threads. The chip will have 12 MB of L3 cache at a price of around $350.
The Intel Core i5-9600K is a 6-core, 6-wire processor with 9 MB of L3 cache. This makes it very similar to the Core i5-8600K. The difference is that it has higher clock speeds of 3.7 GHz base and 4.6 GHz boost (1 core), 4.5 GHz (2 cores), 4.4 GHz (4 cores) and 4.3 GHz (6 cores). All this is done in the same 95W TDP. It would cost $250.
