MSI Bravo 17 is fully aligned with the AMD architecture

Today, MSI announced that the latest MSI gaming notebooks are officially available for pre-sale. The MSI Bravo 17 (and Bravo 15) is the successor of last year’s Alpha series and is set to become one of the best gaming notebooks for limited budgets. It combines an AMD Ryzen laptop CPU with a discrete Radeon graphics card to support games at 1080p and 120 fps.

The MSI Bravo 17 uses a 17-inch 1080p display with a 120 Hz IPS panel. The display supports FreeSync, a must if you call yourself a “gaming” laptop.

The MSI Bravo 17 benefits from the new Ryzen 7 4800H notebook processor combined with the Radeon RX 550M graphics processor with 4GB of GDDR6 memory. The amount of RAM is optional and can range from 8 GB to 64 GB, using two SODIMM slots.

The storage is 512 GB SSD NVMe and you have the option to install another SATA III drive, this can be another SSD SATA or a 2.5-inch hard drive.

Connectivity is provided by 3x USB 3.2 Type-A Gen. 1, 1x USB Type-C Gen. 1, 1x HDMI, 1 RJ-45 and 3.5 mm audio inputs and outputs. The total weight of this notebook is 2.3 kg.

The MSI laptop Bravo 17 has a base price of $1,099 and is available for pre-sale at Newegg together with the Bravo 15, although both are out of stock at the time of writing this article.
