After weeks of leaks, Microsoft has finally officially launched its latest Surface devices, Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2, with all rumors proving true, including matt black.
Both devices run on the Windows 10 operating system and offer longer battery life for all-day operation. Under the hood is an eighth-generation Intel Core i-series processor. Users can choose the i5-8350U, i5-8250U or the more powerful i7-8650U.
What are the specifications for Microsoft Surface Pro 6?
Surface Pro 6 measures 292 x 201 x 8.5 mm and comes with a PixelSense display of 12.33″. This has a resolution of 2736 x 1824 and a pixel density of 267 ppi. The 3:2 aspect ratio makes it ideal for work and features a 10-point multi-touch panel.
Users can choose between 8GB or 16GB RAM and SSD memory options with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB capacity.
Unfortunately, there is no USB-C port for connectivity. However, there is a USB 3.0 port, a Mini DisplayPort, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSDXC card reader.
Surface Pro 6 is available in black or platinum and can be pre-ordered now from 899 USD. The 1TB capacity option is currently not available for pre-ordering. Therefore, the most extreme current configuration is an i7, 512 GB memory, and 16 GB RAM, which cost 1,899 USD.

The user can choose from four different colors: Burgundy, Platinum, Cobalt Blue, and Black. All with an initial price of $999 USD. With a top-of-the-line i7, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of memory, it costs $2,199.
