Microsoft has introduced Windows Hello in Windows 10 and this feature is designed to make it easy for you to log in to your computers without having to enter passwords. Now the giant from Redmond is adding support to the new solution. These are special FIDO2 Security keys, which are designed to eliminate outdated passwords, although this will probably not happen sooner.
Microsoft has added support for FIDO2 Security in Windows Hello. For the time being, the solution is available in a preview version. It is not known when it will leave the testing phase, but probably not sooner than in a few months.
With the support of FIDO2 Security, logging in to your computer will be very easy. You only need a special USB stick with a fingerprint reader. With your finger on, you can log in without entering your password. Work is also underway on NFC modules, which will operate in proximity.
