Max-Q design Technology to replace current GPU?
According to company plans, the first Max-Q gaming PCs are introduced on June 27. Also, it comes with the same GTX1060 GPUs. The performance gets improvement by 1.8 times. NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang demoed a new laptop running Project Cars 2 with 60% more performance than the PS4 Pro and weighs just over 2kg.
Not only hardware components such as chips, drivers, heat sinks, electronics are redesigned. But the software also optimizes for this new design. Upcoming gaming PCs like Acer, Alienware, Asus, Gigabyte, Lenovo, MSI … will launch new gaming laptops using the GTX1060, 1070 and 1080 graphics cards with the Max-Q design.
