Intel’s new processor is exposed as i9-10900K Avengers Edition. It seems that Marvel and Intel joined to promote the new Avengers game, and the A at the end of the “KA” processors that were leaked a few weeks ago referred to this legendary franchise, as these Avengers Edition processors were leaked in several stores.
At the moment, it is not known if Intel will add anything other than the colorful Avengers Edition boxes for their processors, as the specifications remain the same. The i9-10900K Avengers Edition retains its 10 cores and 20 threads with 3.7GHz base frequency and up to 5.3GHz gain, and the same applies to the other models.
As the @momomo_us filter shows, there will also be special editions of the i5-10600K, i7-10700K, and i9-10850K, so a total of 4 “KA” processors will be Avengers Edition.
Although Intel has not officially announced this, it is very likely that these limited edition CPUs are the product of last year’s partnership with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics for the Marvel’s Avengers PC game. This action-adventure game has a release date of September 4th and an open beta version scheduled for August 21st, so we should have news about these new processors by those dates.
