As promised, Marvel and Square Enix have released the first official Marvel’s Avengers gameplay video. This video shows the E3 2019 A-Day Prologue demo, which includes 19 minutes of gameplay.
Marvel’s Avengers is a story-based 3rd person action-adventure game that allows players to collect and build their Avengers team. The game includes both a campaign mode and an online mode. In addition, it will not include any loot boxes or pay-to-win mechanics, although it will include micro-transactions for cosmetics.
Marvel’s Avengers begins with Day A, where Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor unveil the Avengers’ San Francisco headquarters, including their own helicopter powered by an experimental energy source.
The gameplay shows the four heroes with their iconic movements who will please Marvel fans. At the end, a fight with a mini-boss is shown.
Marvel’s Avengers will be launched on May 15, 2020.
