The first performance reference for the Intel Core i9-9900K processor has been filtered into the 3DMark. With this filtering, we can not only see the excellent performance of this CPU but also confirm the specifications shown below.
Intel Core i9-9900K shows great performance with 8 cores
The Intel Core i9-9900K strives to be the flagship ninth-generation Core processor to be released soon. This will be the first Intel Desktop CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads. With regard to the cache, the chip will be 16 MB L3 in size and equipped with an Intel UHD 620 graphics chip.
The 3DMark benchmarking result: 10,719 points (3DMark via TUM APISAK) in CPU-specific performance and 9,725 points with a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gigabyte graphics card. The chip has been tested on the ASUS Z370-F STRIX Gaming motherboard to confirm compatibility with existing 300 series motherboards while being compatible with the upcoming Z390 motherboards.
If you compare the score, you can see that the Core i9-9900K is clearly superior to the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X by about 1500 points and 2500 points ahead of the Intel Core i7-8700K.
This advantage will probably improve with the final samples, as the chip to be tested at a basic frequency of 3.1 GHz is significantly below the expected basic clock rate of 3.6 GHz, which has been confirmed in several other lists.
This processor is expected to cost between $400 and $450.
