A leaked MSI LGA1700 upgrade kit shows the release date of the Intel Core Alder Lake processors. According to this document, the 12th generation Intel Core processors will hit the market on November 4.
MSI states that the Intel Alder Lake processors will hit the market on November 4
MSI announced today that they will be releasing an upgrade kit for Intel LGA1700 processors. This kit is intended for Coreliquid liquid coolers. The announcement states that this new docking system will be available for free. The availability of the kit or the delivery of the kit will be possible from November 4.
Videocardz has stated that they have spoken to their contacts and that Intel Alder Lake will indeed launch on November 4. Wccftech adds that orders will be released a week after the Intel Innovation Event. The embargoes for these processors are as follows:
Oct. 27: Announcement and pre-ordering of processors
Nov. 4: Product sales and review.
It should be noted that earlier rumors assumed a November 19 launch. We don’t know if Intel decided to bring forward the launch of the Alder Lake processors, or if the rumored date was wrong.
It is possible that the motherboards will also fall under the embargo and the reviews will be released on the same day as the processors. The new motherboards will feature support for the PCIe 5.0 interface and DDR5 RAM.
According to rumors, the Core i9-12900K, Core i7-12700K, and Core i5-12600K processors will be released on November 4. Together with these processors, Core KF models are also expected to be launched, which will have disabled graphics. The rest of the processors are predicted to hit the market next year.
New processors with a new architecture
The new Intel Alder Lake processors are based on the new 10nm SuperFIN manufacturing process. These processors feature a combination of high-efficiency cores, called E-cores, and high-performance cores, called P-cores. These cores are connected via Intel’s proprietary EMIB technology.
This is not the only new unit in these processors, they implement a large number of innovations. The other two outstanding models offer support for the PCIe 5.0 interface, leaving PCIe 4.0 in a secondary layer. They also support the new DDR5 RAM, which is a huge leap in performance.
The release of Microsoft’s Windows 11 operating system will happen around the same time as Intel’s new processors. This new version of Microsoft’s operating system brings optimizations for the new Intel Core. All indications are that this new software is designed specifically for the new Alder Lake chips.
What do you think about the fact that the new Intel Alder Lake processors will probably be launched on October 4?
