Colorful today launched its new range of motherboards with LGA2066 Socket on X299 chipset. These motherboards iGame x299 Vulcan X corresponding to the top end of the new Intel LGA 2066 platform that gives life to the Kaby lake-X and Skylake-X processors.

That is the new iGame X299 Vulcan X, a motherboard that we first saw at Computex 2017 and today we come up with this new entry. Initially, it will be launched in two colors (black and white) presenting the same configuration and performance.
iGame X299 Vulcan X Two Colors Variants
The two variants are differentiated by the color scheme in black and white to better adapt to the tastes of all users. The white model includes a PCB of the same color as the I/O zone along with the chipset and components of the VRM. On the other hand, the black one is almost all of it of this color.

The new iGame x299 Vulcan X features an 8-pin EPS and 6-pin PCIe power supply. Also, it comes with the standard 24-pin ATX connector along with a 10-phase VRM for the CPU. That, in turn, can connect to 8 DDR4 DIMM slots and 4 PCI-Express x16 ports. As for storage possibilities, it has 1x M.2-22110 of 32Gb/s, 1x M.2-2280 of 32Gb/s and 6x SATA III 6GB/s.

For I/O connections there are 2x USB 3.1 (1 type-a and other type-c), 6x USB 3.0 (four in the back panel and two by internal headers). And 2x USB 2.0 optimized for gaming peripherals with additional electrical stabilization. There are 2x Gigabit Ethernet (one headed by the Intel i211-AT controller and another is from Realtek DragonLAN 8118AS). The audio will run on the Realtek ALC 1220 CODEC with 120 dBA SNR.
Also, it supports headphone amplifier and electromagnetic isolation. Finally, it has a Dual BIOS system and features focused on overclocking. At the moment the company has not disclosed the price in Europe, so we will have to wait to find out.
