GTA 6 is particularly expected by the fans of the series, but according to experts, it will be necessary to have patience. GTA 6 is once again making headlines, this time through a report by a Jeffries analyst. Alex Gaimo expects the next part of the famous license to be released in 2021… or even 2022. Rockstar Games has recently announced that it wants to review the way it works, which will give them the opportunity to shorten the waiting time between releases of the main episodes of their series.
Knowing the studio, we take our time and do not hesitate to let 5 to 8 years pass between each episode of a successful series….. In this context, it should be remembered that GTA 5 was first released in 2013, i.e. 6 years ago in September of this year and that the fans, of course, expect a new episode very soon. Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take Two Interactive, even pointed out that GTA 6 could be released “earlier than expected”.
But according to analyst Alex Giaimo, the next GTA will be out of the question for a few more years….. The Jefferies specialist announced that he had recommended that investors should not invest too early in Take-Two. According to him, GTA 6 could at best not exit before 2022.
2021 or 2022? when GTA VI will leave the window?
In a report, the analyst, therefore, points to a window of opportunity beyond the group’s 2022 financial year, or even a few years later. Meanwhile, Rockstar GTA Online and Red Dead Redemption Online have simply been able to continue providing content, which is no surprise to the players. The critically acclaimed title shook all previous records of the brand and last November surpassed the 100 million copies sold worldwide. And at the same time earned its designers millions of dollars.
GTA 6 will be launched first on PS4 and Xbox One and then on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett
In this context, it would have been legitimate for the publisher to have followed the same strategy with GTA 6 by first launching it on PS4 and Xbox One before repeating the process on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett. Under the assumption that Jeffries’ analyst is right, however, this will not be the case.
