A large update of Google News announced at the I/O 2018 conference has just landed in Google Play, from where for free it can be downloaded by any Android user. What changes can we expect?
In the heavily redesigned Google News application, significant changes have been made to the interface, allowing for even easier and intuitive handling of the information we are interested in, both from the world and from the local. Part of it is to be possible thanks to the Artificial Intelligence mechanisms built into the application.
In the individual sections you will find:
A summary of the messages will allow you to keep track of every important topic for you;
All materials will allow you to get to know the full context of a given topic, drawing attention to different points of view and the order of events;
Trusted sources are a place where materials from trusted publishers will be delivered;
Articles for you will allow the user to stay up to date with the areas of interest to him, such as sport, politics, business, technology or weather.
Google News (or Google Messages, if the default language on your device is Polish) marked with 5.0.0 is available for free in Google Play for all devices working under the control of Android version 4.4 and later.
