Nvidia has just released new Game Ready graphics drivers for its GeForce GPUs. The GeForce 460.79 WHQL drivers are designed to provide full support for the Cyberpunk 2077 game released today for PCs.
GeForce 460.79 drivers are available with Cyberpunk 2077 support
Cyberpunk 2077 by CDProjekt is one of the most anticipated games in recent years, not only because it is the game of the makers of The Witcher, but also because of the technology behind it. With support for ray tracing, DLSS, and state-of-the-art graphics, it is a litmus test for the new NVIDIA RTX 30 series graphics cards.
The GeForce 460.79 WHQL drivers provide full support for this game, but that’s not the only thing that’s new. NVIDIA is also adding the necessary optimizations for Minecraft RTX, the version of the popular dice game with support for ray tracing effects.
List of driver enhancements and fixes:
- Added function “Max. frame rate of background application” to the controls’ settings screen.
- Added color accuracy mode function within the desktop color settings screen.
- Forza Motorsport 7]: Track cable may have a black stripe on certain tracks during a race. [2781776]
- If the refresh rate is set above 100 Hz, the color format changes from RGB to ycbcr422. [3053990]
- GeForce RTX 3090]. SLI] [G-SYNC]: When G-SYNC is enabled in Surround SLI (3x monitors), the system is locked when a game is started. [3167493]
- [GeForce RTX 3 series]: NvAPI_GPU_GetGPUInfo() returns an incorrect number of GPU tensor cores. [3140329]
- [MPC-HC]: The video player crashes when playing videos with a width of 1088 pixels. [3148082]
- [5k Display]: When the display is set to 5K resolution, the color settings cannot be set from the NVIDIA Control Panel > Change Resolution page. The controls will dim or return to their default values after all changes are made. [200630939/3182567].
