Nvidia’s RTX 4090 graphics card is rumored to be more than twice as fast as the RTX 3090, according to information coming from source Kopite7kimi.
The performance would be higher than expected, although always speaking of rasterization performance, which would be doubling that achieved by the current RTX 3090.
The latest information was shared by Kopite7kimi who stated that while the graphics card specs were the same as what he had previously posted, the overall performance has increased tremendously. The RTX 4090 is expected to have a power consumption between 450W and 500W. This model would have 70% more CUDA cores than the RTX 3090 Ti and is expected to have higher clock speeds. The increase in power consumption comes even in a context where the process node has been upgraded to TSMC’s 4nm when the RTX 3090 was manufactured with a 7nm node.
