After many hints and leaks, Crytek finally confirmed that Crysis Remastered is on its way. The famous killer will return to the PC along with versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even Nintendo Switch.
Crysis Remastered will be released on all platforms this summer and will focus on the original single-player campaign. This new version is a cooperative project between Crytek and Saber Interactive, which has already worked on a variety of ports.
According to the announcement, the remastering will include an HD texture package, temporary anti-aliasing, SSDO, SVOGI, advanced depth of field, new lighting settings, motion blur, particle effects and parallax occlusion mapping. Other additions such as volumetric fog and light beams, software-based ray tracing and reflections add significant visual enhancement to the game.
