Core i9-11900K, MSI accidentally reveals “CPU-Z” screenshot

MSI is behind a small flaw in Intel’s next flagship model, the Core i9-11900K. On the page dedicated to the activation of the Resizable Base-Address Register (Resizable-BAR) technology, a screenshot of CPU-Z reveals its frequency.

This error has been fixed in the meantime. It appeared in the section “Resizable-BAR support for Intel 400 series motherboards”. The CPU-Z utility reveals some information about this upcoming Rocket Lake S chip. It is a core solution to the 11th generation.

The used technical sample has 8 physical and 16 logical cores. It embeds a 4 MB L2 cache and a 16 MB L3 cache. The board is identified as a Genuine Intel 3.4 GHz chip, while 4.3 GHz is measured by the “Core Speed” part. We also have a multiplication coefficient between 8 and 50, so starting at 5 GHz is possible and conceivable.

It also supports AVX512F and SHA commands and a 125W thermal envelope.
