Cemu 1.11.6 will be available to all users from tomorrow, April 3, 2018, until that time, it is exclusive to those who have supported the project through Patreon. With the new release, Super Smash Bros Xenoblade Xenoblade and Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water, which was not playable or had numerous problems in previous versions of the emulator, are now supported.

Beyond compatibility, Cemu 1.11.6 continues to take steps to improve the performance of games, to keep trying to make them enjoyable for all players. Game profiles have also been updated with new options, and the Home key can now be assigned.

Also, this new version of Cemu adds the option of using an integrated shader system that can fix GPU vendor-specific problems, improve performance under GPU scenarios, and fix compatibility issues.

So far, Cemu has been the only WiiU emulator that has been able to make the games on the Nintendo system work, remembering that one of its star titles, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, has been thoroughly playable for some time now, as well as being able to enjoy graphics enhancement mods and 4K resolution.
