Apple has proposed new emotions to the Unicode consortium. This time they are pictures created with the disabled in mind. The Cupertino giant says that people with disabilities should also have their own emotion to express their limitations. Unfortunately, new feelings won’t hit iOS quickly.
Apple proposes emotions with the disabled, but those will not get to iOS quickly
Apple brings new excitement to your iOS from time to time. Now, the Cupertino giant has submitted further proposals to the Unicode consortium, which takes care of these pictures. This time it is precisely 13 new emotions that represent disabilities.
Apple proposes the introduction of emotions such as wheelchairs, guide dogs or prostheses. Cupertino believes that people with disabilities should also have their pictures where they can express their limitations. Examples of these, which were presented to the Unicode consortium, can be found below.

However, Apple will not quickly introduce such emotions. The list of feeling from the Emoji 11.0 update is already closed. These will be added to Android P and iOS 12 in the second half of this year, and the next picture update will be finalized in less than a year. So it is possible that we will see them only then.
With iOS 12 expected to be released in the WWDC 2018 in June, Apple is set to add more than 150 excitements. The new update of the system will also be available on older smartphones, such as iPhone 6, which you will find in Polish shops. If you are wondering what precisely new emotions will appear, you can watch them in the video below.
