After the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Xtreme WaterForce has been equipped with an AIO, Gigabyte announces the Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER WaterForce WB. We stay in the liquid cooling area, but with a DIY solution.
Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER WaterForce WB Overclocking Frequencies
The Aorus GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER WaterForce WB is a reworked RTX 2080. The solution must be connected to an operating circuit. The card is therefore intended for experienced users. The water block occupies the entire surface of the card. Connection to an external water cooling circuit is via two G 1/4″ connections.
Gigabyte crafted the design with nickel-plated copper combined with acrylic reinforced with addressable RGB LEDs or brushed aluminum and a back panel with an Aorus aRGB logo.
The mechanics are solid and suggest overclocking the GPU at the best. The latter is operated with 1860 MHz in boost mode, whereby the RTX 2080 Super Reference is calibrated to 1815 MHz. The device has seven video outputs, including three DisplayPorts 1.4, three HDMI 2.0b and a virtual connection. Power is supplied via a PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 slot and two 8-pin PCIe slots.
It is powered via a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Gigabyte does not quote any prices but underlines a four-year warranty.
