ASRock TRX40 Creator: Meets the full power of AMD Ryzen Threadripper

ASRock positions the new TRX40 Creator motherboard among developers looking to integrate high-speed NVIDIA Quadro RTX graphics cards and super-fast PCIe 4.0 memory. This motherboard includes a 10GbE connection courtesy of AQUANTIA’s Ethernet AQtion 10Gbps BASE-T driver, which enables incredibly fast network transmission.

In addition, there is the ASRock TRX40 Taichi mainboard, which is designed for overclocking and expandability. When ASRock says it’s pushing the expandability with the new TRX40 Taichi, it means it’s an ASRock Hyper Quad M.2 card that can accommodate 4 additional SSDs PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2, signifying that this board can have an unreasonable amount of super-fast PCIe 4.0 storage space.

ASRock has also put more effort into the thermal design of its new TRX40 Taichi base plate, with an extra-large aluminum alloy heat sink with not just one but two fans to keep the base plate as cool as possible.

Both products use USB3.2 Gen 2 x2 with data transfer speeds up to 20 Gbps, which is twice as fast as previous generations and maximizes data transfer speeds.
