AMD rejects allegations about Chinese government partnership

Regardless of the revival of trade relations, the trade conflict between the United States and China continues. In this case, it is AMD that is facing a series of accusations against Wall Street. In a recent article, the company is accused of working with the Chinese government. They were also accused of exchanging information about CPUs that were secret. These accusations have not been dealt with by the company for long. They have rejected their work or cooperation with the Chinese government and they have even declined to cooperate with them.

In this case, AMD 2016 allegedly exchanged information about its x86 CPU with Sugon Information Industry, a manufacturer supported by the Chinese government. For this reason, the company is said to have created a complex network between the two companies to circumvent U.S. trade and defense regulations. However, the company has a different story here.

According to them, they acted responsibly and reported everything about this agreement with Sugon to the trade and defense ministries. There have never been any complaints, problems or objections. In other words, they have pushed this agreement forward in the past. On the other hand, this partnership with the Chinese company was a significant benefit for AMD. But the company claims to have done everything according to established protocols. In addition, it is somewhat surprising that these accusations are now coming true. So we will have to see what happens in the coming weeks.
