AMD and Oxide Games join forces to enhance cloud gaming

AMD and Oxide Games have announced a collaboration to jointly develop graphics technologies for the growing cloud gaming market.

It is expected that the iron “red team”, together with game technologies and the Nitrous Engine, will create a reliable set of tools and technologies for cloud rendering.

So far, there are no technical details of the project and no data on the release date of the final solution available. However, AMD has already announced that Oxide is an ideal partner for the company, as it will expand the possibilities for gamers by providing them with a high-quality game.

Scott Herkelman, corporate vice president and general manager of AMD’s graphics division, said the company prides itself on its ability to push the boundaries of what technology can help improve the gaming process.

In general, when we talk about deviating from marketing promises, we are clearly talking about making it easier to create cloud games “that gamers can’t even imagine”. According to Mark Meyer, president of Oxide Games, the Nitrous engine was designed with this in mind.
