Power

The RAM can be increased up to a maximum of 32 GB. On the other hand, the hard disk that is offered is of type PCIe SSD, with a maximum of 512 GB . An HDD hard disk with up to 2TB capacity can be optionally added. With that combination, installing large games will no longer be a problem. As for software, the operating system that comes installed is Windows 10.
Ventilation
When it comes to playing intensively, heating the device is one of the most recurring problems. That’s why Acer Nitro 5 notebooks include 2 fans with AcerBoost technology. Thanks to this technology we can choose the speed of ventilation, as well as adapt the cooling to our needs of use. With these options, we will always have our laptop cool and ready to play.
Ports and connectivity
To play online without cuts, it is vital to have a team that responds with a fast and effective connection. For this reason, the Acer Nitro 5 models include two MIMO antennas to guarantee an 802.11ac WiFI connection as fast as possible. If we want even more speed, we can use the Gigabit Ethernet port to receive 100% of the signal.
As for ports, in this family of computers we will always find a variety of USB ports. We will have one of type C, another USB 3.0 and two more of type 2.0. If we also want to connect our Acer Nitro 5 to a separate TV to view our games in large size, we can do it thanks to the HDMI port .
Availability and price
The Acer Nitro 5 family will arrive in our country in August. The base price is 1,100 euros, and from there depends on the configuration we choose . In any case, it is a high level device for casual gamers who want to raise a quality step in their equipment.
