Acer today unveiled a new series of game monitors for the Nitro line, designed to bring video games to life. The new Acer Nitro XV3 series includes 4 new high refresh rate, high-resolution gamers monitors that offer an incredible experience at an affordable price. The new line of Acer Nitro XV3 gaming monitors is much more affordable.

All models share some features, such as their compatibility with NVIDIA G-Sync (which eliminates flickering, screen tearing and other image defects), as well as high screen refresh rates (and allow variable refresh rates or VRR when connected with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 and GeForce RTX 20 graphics series) and high resolution to provide more accurate images. These are the four models, their characteristics, price and when they are scheduled to arrive in our country.

  • Nitro XV273U S: is the top of the range, 27 inches with WQHD resolution (2560×1440), and refresh rate of 144 Hz / overclock at 165 Hz. It will arrive in January 2020 for 649 euros.
  • Nitro XV273 X: 27 inches, but with FullHD resolution (1920×1080), a refresh of up to 240 Hz, DisplayHDR ™ 400 and IPS panel with a response time between 5ms and G2G 1ms (0.1ms min). This September comes for 519 euros.
  • Nitro XV253Q X: 24.5-inch panel, FullHD resolution, and 240 Hz refresh rate. It will be launched in November at a price of 419 euros.
  • Nitro XV253Q P: 24.5-inch panel, Full HD resolution, and 144 Hz refresh rate. It will be launched in October, for 319 euros.

The new Nitro monitors are compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC and offer variable refresh rates (VRR) as standard when connected to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 and GeForce RTX 20 graphics series to support dynamic refresh rates, preventing screen tears and minimizing delays. These new IPS1 monitors also feature Adaptive Sync technology to satisfy players who want the highest resolution with extremely fast response times of up to 1ms and Visual Response Boost (VRB) for smooth, tear-free gaming.

The Nitro XV3 series features Agile Splendor technology, which uses liquid crystal panels and 99% of the sRGB color space. DisplayHDR 400-certified monitors offer ultra-fast response times of up to 1 ms VRB (Visual Response Boost) and ensure crystal-clear images without blur, excellent color reproduction and more realistic, natural images. With a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, players will love superior visual fluidity and crisp graphics.

Acer Nitro monitors are available in four configurations: two 27-inch monitors and two 24.5-inch monitors:

All monitors feature Acer Game Mode, eight display modes that optimize images for different types of content: Action, racing, sports, custom, standard, ECO, graphics, and cinema. This unique feature is accessible at the touch of a button or via the on-screen setup menu. The built-in black power-up allows players to select from 11 levels of black to optimize images and clearly identify enemies on the screen, search for cover or take curves in a race title.

Acer VisionCare™ with Flickerless, BlueLightShield, ComfyView, and darkening technologies provide a more comfortable display over long game times. The Acer Nitro XV3 Series features an ergonomically designed base with the ability to rotate and tilt 20° so the player can always find the perfect position. The quick-release design allows you to separate the monitor from its VESA stand so you can hang it on the wall and make room on the desk.
