The YouTube team has just presented the latest developments in the YouTube Virtual Reality application, YouTube VR, to extend its experience to other users.
First, YouTuve VR now comes with Samsung’s Gear VR glasses, available this week at the Oculus Store. Previously, the YouTube VR application was available for Daydream View, HTC Vive, and PlayStation VR glasses.
Second, a new feature has been added that allows you to view and comment on VR content together. For this purpose, the option “View together” was added, with which you can create a group and a virtual room, in which you can view and comment on the VR content you have shared.
Speaking of VR content: This summer, more exclusive new content will be added to the existing content, thus expanding the catalog of VR content that users can enjoy via the YouTube Virtual Reality application.
In this way, YouTube VR takes a significant step forward for its expansion to reach more users, and with new options for them to enjoy the immersive experiences, they expect after use.
