Spotted on Reddit, a Vietnamese online store has released what appears to be the first ASUS ROG Strix graphics card based on the GeForce GTX 1180. The announcement is accompanied by a number of information such as features, price and launch date.

We are in the framework of a pre-order operation. This ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1180 is presented with a GT104 Turing GPU carrying 3594 Cuda Cores. It comes with 16 GB of GDDR6 operated by a 256-bit memory bus. The frequency is calibrated to 14 GHz (GDDR6-effective), which corresponds to a bandwidth of 409.6 GB / s.

One of the most interesting points concerns the date, 28 September. She’s just confirming the latest rumors. Nvidia would have taken the decision to postpone the release of its next novelties because of a turbulent graphics card market.

On this issue, further rate adjustments are to be expected in the coming weeks. Demand would be much lower than supply so that prices are expected to fall by around 20%.

ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1180, caution

To come back to this pre-order, the few information proposed are in line with our latest indiscretions about this GeForce GTX 1180.

According to several reports, Nvidia programmed two versions, one with 8 GB of GDDR6 at a price of 999 dollars and the other with 16 GDDR6 at 1499 dollars. We have here a positioning around 1500 dollars.

If the index beams seem to be tightening on more and more precise data, we must remain cautious. Nvidia has so far confirmed nothing except a hint a few days ago in Turing.
