Wasteland 3 postponed to August due to the remote work complications

Wasteland 3, the post-apocalyptic game from inXile Entertainment, set in the snow-covered mountains of Colorado, has been postponed. The study announced today that it has been working remotely due to the coronavirus outbreak, which led to “logistical challenges” that resulted in the postponement of the launch date to August 28.

“This is the time we will spend listening to suggestions, optimizing, refining and ensuring that we deliver an amazing collaborative experience,” inXile said. “We put our hearts into this game, and we want nothing less than to bring to market an amazing product that we believe in.”

Fortunately, the response to the delay on Twitter has been almost entirely positive. More development time means a higher quality product, so there’s no point in looking at it any differently. The game already looks fantastic and will certainly look even better when it’s launched.
