ViewSonic has just released its new monitor VP2785-4K. That is a solution of 27 “, 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) whose main feature is it’s precise, vibrant and intense color reproduction. That is the perfect monitor for photographers or professional designers. Among the color gamut, it can cover 99% of the Adobe RGB spectrum and 98% DCI-P3 with a factory calibration to reach Delta E <2.

ViewSonic VP2785-4K Built-in backlight sensor
With a built-in backlight sensor, the VP2785-4K can stabilize color in just three minutes. So, maintaining the stability of the brightness of Adobe RGB and sRGB for longer periods of time. Instead of needing the typical 30 minutes more of a monitor to retain its brightness, chromaticity and color characteristics, the VP2785-4K has shortened the heating time to minutes.

In the panel we find the IPS technology, with 350 nits of brightness, 1000: 1 contrast, 178 / 178º of viewing angles, 120Hz of a refresh, 5ms of response and compatibility with HDR10 also counting with sensors of ambient light, Presence, and a KVM switch. It also has presets calibrated for the reproduction of cinematic content EBU, Rec.709, SMPTE-C, and DCI.

As for connections, the new ViewSonic VP2785-4K features USB 3.1 Type C, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort 2.1. These come in addition to HDCP 2.2 compatibility. This professional-oriented monitor will be available this August for an approximate price of 999 €. That is a relatively reasonable price in the professional sector, where solutions are more expensive and not so prepared.
