With Alexa being one of the best-developed smart assistants of recent times, it would be ideal for users of Apple smartwatches to have this technology and not rely so much on Siri. Well, everything indicates that it is now possible to interact with Alexa on Apple Watch thanks to a third-party app called Voice in a Can.
How to use Alexa on your Apple Watch
As a third-party app, Voice in a Can does not require an iPhone connection to work with Alexa, and all it requires is a Wi-Fi or LTE signal and a recent version of Apple Watch.
At the moment, the app is somewhat limited, as the options are smaller than Siri’s and do not include the full version of Alexa. Currently, Voice in a Can does not allow you to make calls or place music by ordering from Alexa. However, its developers have promised to update it soon to incorporate more features.
One of the most interesting features of the application is that it allows interaction with Alexa compatible devices, such as home appliances that allow you to turn light bulbs on and off or activate a coffee machine.
