On the 10th of this month, TSMC announces its revenue for the previous month, and the June revenue, also announced on Friday, was a record NTD 120.878 billion, or about $4.1 billion.

The June revenue announcement follows on from TSMC’s first-half revenues, which were also announced on TSMC’s official website.

According to the official website, TSMC’s revenues for the first half of this year amounted to 621.296 billion New Taiwan dollars or about 21.087 billion dollars. TSMC’s revenues for the first half of last year amounted to NT$459.703 billion, up 35.2% from last year.

As smartphone manufacturers such as Apple and Huawei will launch major new products in the second half of the year, Apple, in particular, will launch new iPhone in the second half of the year, and there are large shipments, and the demand for processors is also high in the second half of the year, so TSMC’s revenues tend to be higher.

In the second half of last year, TSMC recorded revenues of more than NT$100 billion for five consecutive months and the second half of 610.283 billion New Taiwan Dollars (NTD). And in the first half of this year, TSMC’s revenues reached NTD 621.296 billion, which is higher than the second half of last year’s revenues.
