Triton 700 and Helios 300 Gaming NoteBook From Acer With Super Specifications for Games

Acer announced its new products “Predator Triton 700” and “Predator Helios 300” of gaming notebooks. At the event of “next @ acer” that held in New York on April 27 (local time). Triton 700 is a thin gaming notebook that is expanding as a new PC market. And Helios 300 is an excellent model for exercising its power as an introduction to full-fledged gaming PCs and also as an entertainment PC.

The 15.6-inch Triton 700 is equipped with two second-generation AeroBlade 3D fans. That are combined with the liquid cooling system “LiquidLoop” that realizes a thinness of only 18.9 mm. And have a weight of 2.6 kg only.

AeroBlade technology

“AeroBlade” using a metal blade, “AeroBlade 3D” which improved the shape of the blade. So increased the number of blades by dismantling the exterior. And the “2nd generation AeroBlade 3D” incorporating the blade design of the cooling fan for the desktop PC After evolution. Here the fans are significantly thin. While on the other hand they realized an air flow which is 35% better than the cooling fan for common plastic blades.

These laptops have Intel’s 7th generation Core i7 / i5 as a processor. And NVIDIA’s GeForce 10 series as graphics accelerator. The 3D Mark score is 17,000 points. In the event, Acer is on top not only for categories of 20 mm or less in thickness but even top 30 mm or less. So that appeals as “top class” even in categories of 40 mm or less.

Triton 700 Touch Pad On Back Side of Keyboard

A mechanical mechanism is adopted as a keyboard that is specially designed for gamer. If you place the keyboard in front you you can have an  easy navigation of keys. It has a unique design the so called as touchpad covered with Gorilla Glass at the back of the keyboard.

The 15.6 inch display is an FHD IPS panel and corresponds to NVIDIA G-SYNC. Two NVMe PCIe SSDs are supported. The interface includes Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet. It is scheduled to be released in North America in August, with prices starting at US $ 2,999.

Helios 300 Specifications

Helios 300 has two sizes of 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches. So both of these are FHD IPS displays. Processor is 7th generation Core i7 (7700 HQ) or i5 (7300 HQ), GPU is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050 Ti. Two AeroBlade 3D fans keep optimum temperature and users can manage system state and overclocking through PredatorSense software.

It supports up to 16GB of DDR 4 memory, SATA SSD, 1TB HDD etc. And these components are easily upgraded by accessing from the bottom. Interface is USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet etc. The 15.6 inch model will be released in China in June and in North America in July, the price in North America will be from US $ 1,299, the 17.3 inch model will be released in July and the price in North America from 1,399 US dollars.
