TOSHIBA introduces Thunderbolt 3 docking station for notebooks. That can connect via a Type-C USB port and allows data transfer up to 40 Gb/s.
Toshiba has just launched a new Docking Station Thunderbolt 3 to expand the connectivity of laptops. This device includes up to a total of thirteen ports to connect to the laptop with a broad range of peripherals. Such as audio equipment, keyboards, mice, monitors, displays or printers. Also, it allows reproducing in two different screens of 4K video signals simultaneously.

This Thunderbolt 3 docking has been designed externally for Toshiba’s X-Series notebooks. That is the Toshiba’s new premium range of professional ultra-light laptops. That includes the model X20W-D, model X30-D, and Tecra X40-D series.
These notebooks have the option to connect to the docking station via a USB Type-C port. That allows a data transfer rate of up to 40 Gb/s. That can also serve to charge the battery of the notebook while they are connected. So it is not necessary to plug in The laptop to the power supply.

The Thunderbolt 3 docking station includes 2 HDMI ports, 4 USB 3.0 ports, and two more USB Type-C ports, DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort. Also, there is a VGA output connector, LAN port and a combo for microphone and speakers.
That also offers companies and professionals the possibility to expand the features and functionality of their laptops by creating a desktop work center that provides greater comfort and flexibility of use. With this device, the notebook can be connected to two 4K displays and, also, three additional external monitors.
