Forza Horizon 5’s Steam page briefly featured a promotional image for the game’s first expansion.
For a short time, the game’s DLC page featured an image with the headline “Includes Expansion 1” accompanied by an image showing a Hot Wheels car driving around.
That image was quickly removed, but an archived version of the page shows what it looked like:
This would suggest that the arrival of the first expansion is imminent. We will probably see a reveal during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase presentation next Sunday.
Forza and Hot Wheels had already collaborated on Forza Horizon 3’s second expansion, which took players to a separate area of the world that consisted of parts of stunt tracks. They had also added 10 new cars, including classic Hot Wheels cars that were enlarged to the size of normal cars.
Rumors of the first expansion for Forza Horizon 5 had already surfaced in February, but there was no official announcement yet.

The Xbox Store page states, “Includes two game expansions when available.” Each expansion will feature a new location, new vehicles, and new gameplay.
Forza Horizon 5 is an online multiplayer racing game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting November 9, 2021. Available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S.
