Surface Go 2, elegant second generation with prices from $400 to $880

Microsoft has introduced the second generation of the Surface Go tablet. It has the same slim and light casing as its predecessor but now offers a larger 10.5-inch PixelSense display, unlike the 10.1-inch screen of the first version. Thanks to the slimmer frame, the overall dimensions have hardly changed. The screen resolution is 1920 × 1280.

Surface Go 2 received a performance increase of up to 64% over the original configuration with an 8th generation Intel Core M processor.

The $400 base version of Surface Go 2 is equipped with an Intel Pentium Gold processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal eMMC memory. The battery life of the tablet is rated at 10 hours.

It also includes a USB-C port, a Surface Connect port for charging and connecting the dock, a microSDXC card slot, and a Wi-Fi 6 wireless adapter. Microsoft has also added 2 Studio Mics microphones to Surface Go for clearer voice transmission and less background noise.

The older version of Surface Go 2 with the Intel Core m3 processor has 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD onboard. Its price is 629 dollars.

There will also be a model based on Intel Pentium Gold with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD for $549.

It will also be possible to buy LTE models of Surface Go 2. The $729 consumer tablet includes an Intel Core m3 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB flash drive.

Enterprise customers will be offered an $879 U.S. LTE-enabled Surface Go 2 model with a 256GB hard drive.
