Splunk’s logging, monitoring, and reporting platform will soon be available to the general public via the Google Cloud. As part of a strategic partnership, native integrations for Splunk Cloud are also planned.
Splunk comes to SaaS on Google Cloud
Splunk has announced a strategic partnership with Google. As part of this partnership, Splunk Cloud will be available in the Google Cloud. It also plans to “firmly integrate the service into the Google Cloud, for example, by introducing new native integrations with the Cloud Security Command Center, Anthos and Stackdriver.
For users of the solution offered as a service, Splunk promises a central view through which data can be examined, monitored, and analyzed. Existing customers will be able to exchange data between applications or analyze data sets from hybrid multi-cloud environments.
With the offering that is now available, customers do not have to maintain their own infrastructure for this purpose but could make use of the technological possibilities of Google’s Cloud. These include artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), security, network operation, and data analysis.
Splunk Cloud is currently in a beta phase for early access customers. The offering is expected to be generally available soon.
