Chrome Music Lab, an initiative launched by Google Creative Lab in 2016, today introduced a new music creation tool called Song Maker. It is an application that runs in the browser. So it is possible to program loops for two different instruments that can be chosen in the system.
Song Maker Google launches a tool to create music
Chrome Music Lab projects allow us to play with music and sound. And for this purpose, they include resources that will enable us to learn concepts related to the frequency of sound vibrations.
Song Maker is a sequencer divided into two sections. Also, it is an application that shows a part of the melody and a bar for the rhythm. Also, we can choose between several musical options and draw the notes using the mouse, keyboard or finger.
“It’s a simple way for anyone to make a song and then share it with a link, without having to log in or create an account. Anyone can instantly hear what he did, and even use it to make his own song.”
The app restricts the available notes according to the scale we choose. So the result is always acceptable. We can even connect it to a MIDI keyboard or enable the microphone button to sing, as well as further customize the song by adjusting the rhythm, cycle length, times per bar and more.
Above we show you the video presentation of this tool that can help many to learn more about music.
