Those who are part of the Insiders program are the first to get the new features, like those integrated into the new version of Skype: the ability to archive chat conversations.

This can be done either via the menu or via the chat settings. And of course with Command + E for Mac and Ctrl + Shift + E for Windows. One detail to consider is that while we can indicate that the conversations are archived, there is no section to view them.

If we want to find one of those calls, we need to use the Skype search engine or go to the contact profile. The conversation is archived until we review it again, either to review the chat or the contacts who participated in it, add a new person, or add more messages.

And according to Skype’s synchronization dynamics, the calls stored on one device are kept in this state on all other computers. At the moment, this feature is being tested and the Microsoft team is asking for user feedback to customize some details.

For example, you can specify whether the calls should be automatically archived, how they should be organized, and other questions that you can find under this link.
