SilverStone LD01 is a new PC Micro ATX chassis that comes with a design dominated by black-tinted tempered glass, allowing you to be at the cutting edge of fashion to suit the tastes of the most demanding.
SilverStone LD01, a Micro ATX chassis with three black tempered glass panels
The tinted tempered glass design of the SilverStone LD01 is only broken by the stainless steel frame, which supports the three black glass panels. The power supply unit and a cage for three 3.5″/2.5″ hard disks are located at the bottom of the tower, next to the inverted motherboard.
This inversion of the motherboard is not in vain, as it allows the graphics card to be supplied with fresh air directly from the top for better-operating temperatures. As for the CPU heatsink, it can be up to 168 millimeters high and graphics cards can measure up to 370 mm long and 174 mm wide.
As for cooling, it offers space for two 120 or 140 mm fans in the front, to which two more of the same size will be added in the upper part, and one of 120 mm in the rear part to remove the hot air. It is also possible to mount 280 mm radiators with a thickness of 55 mm.
It’s a very compact but space-saving chassis, with an I/O panel that includes a USB Type-C port along with two USB 3.0 ports and 3.5 mm audio and mic jacks. You can leave a comment with your opinion.
