Sharkoon unveils the NIGHT SHARK, an ATX box

After a couple of pretty simple boxes, Sharkoon returns to the aggressive box with the NIGHT SHARK, an ATX model is now available in three or four versions: Lite, Blue / Red, and RGB. The differences obviously affect the fans, with the Lite sold naked, while the three others benefit from two front and one rear fan. The RGB model uses a control board with the possibility to connect to a compatible motherboard or the reset button to change the effects during operation.

The housing measures 503 x 210 x 475 mm for slightly more than 8 kg with a steel frame and a 3 mm thick left door made of tempered glass.

The exterior has a partially transparent facade with a 5.25″ bay above it. The connector is located on the top of the button with two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and sound.

Inside, the chassis uses an old-school format with the power supply at the top, a large cage allows the power supply and two hard drives when the external 5.25″ rack is not in use. Another turntable is available in the motherboard compartment, behind the tray, for one 3.5″ or two 2.5″ discs. However, it can be removed to install a 240mm heater along the motherboard. Two additional dedicated 2.5″ supports are available.

It is also possible to install a 240 mm radiator at the front or a 360 mm radiator at the bottom of the housing with a removable filter at the bottom. Great possibilities are, with always some limitations depending on the thickness of each component. The basic CPU heater is limited to 160 mm in height, while the graphics card should not exceed 420 mm. All details can be found here.
