Shadow of the Tomb Raider is optimized for NVIDIA GPUs

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was released yesterday and we know it will be released in September. A new adventure of Lara Croft is about to begin and her PC version is already making a name for itself, being an optimized title for NVIDIA graphics cards.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be released on September 14th for PC

NVIDIA announced that it is partnering with Square Enix, Eidos Montréal (the leading development studio), Crystal Dynamics (as support) and Nixxes Software (the PC port studio) to develop the PC version of the game.

NVIDIA will bring its gaming and PC development expertise to bear on the advanced features of Shadow of the Tomb Raider at the technical level. This effort will help maximize the performance benefits of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series GPUs for PC gamers worldwide. This continues the collaboration that began in the previous title, Rise of the Tomb Raider.

We don’t yet have specific details about the NVIDIA GameWorks features that will be used in the game. However, as a reminder, the previous release (Rise of the Tomb Raider) already featured the VXAO and HBAO+ options.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on September 14 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, when pre-ordering you can play it two days in advance. In this new installment, Lara’s adventure will take us through jungle lands and ancient temples, with a darker and more sinister atmosphere.
