And the first product that will be going on sale is the FireCuda Gaming hard drive with capacities of 1TB ($80), 2TB ($110), and 5TB ($180). We don’t know if these models will use SMR technology or be more traditional hard drives. They offer a one-year warranty and three years of free access to the Rescue Data Recovery tool.

The FireCuda Gaming Hubs will have higher capacities due to the use of 3.5-inch hard drives. This model is available in 8TB ($220) and 16TB ($400) capacities.

As you would expect from a SATA hard drive, it can connect to any computer via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port (USB-C or USB-A) with a bandwidth of 5Gbps. In addition, it can act as a hub to connect other peripherals to it.

Aesthetically, it stands out with its RGB lighting, which can be customized using Seagate’s Toolkit tool or other tools with Razer Chroma-compatible syncing.

The new FireCudaGaming series was launched with NVMe SSDs in mind, but now it has been expanded to include hard drives. Probably the most interesting options are those that offer 8 or 16 TB of capacity, where we can store really large files and move them from one place to another. We could even create a full backup of our computer on these drives.
