Galaxy Z Flip 5G appeared on the website of the Chinese regulatory authority Tenaa. Earlier this year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S20 series and a 4G folding phone, known as the “Galaxy Z Flip”. Galaxy Z Flip did not come with a Snapdragon 865 processor, support for the 5G networks are a big disappointment to consumers. Recently, a new Samsung device was released at TENAA, and it is believed that it is the Galaxy Z Flip 5G version.
According to the pictures of the phone, it is almost identical to the Galaxy Z Flip. It has a double rear-facing camera and an edge-flash LED next to the camera. On the outside, there is also a screen with a SIM card slot on the left and volume control and the fingerprint reader on the right.
On the front of the assembly, the Galaxy Z Flip is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2636×1080. An additional small screen for support is 300×112 pixels. As far as the processor is concerned, the model runs on a Snapdragon 865+ processor, which is complemented by 8+256 GB RAM.
In terms of battery life, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G comes with a 2500mAH + 704mAH battery in two parts. It has a 12-megapixel front camera and a 12-megapixel + 10-megapixel dual camera combination on the back. Information from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) shows that the phone also supports 15W fast charging and Wi-Fi 802.11ax. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be released later this year and should cost a little more than the Galaxy Z Flip 4G version.
