They then decided to design hybrids that would have the functionality of one and the comfort of the other. Gradually, however, they realized that smartphones were the line to follow on the market.

Which is why they have recently started to flourish in this area. However, they are not doing this to compete with big brands like Samsung or Apple, as Xiaomi has done.

In fact, Motorola has begun to develop smartphones that follow their original course of action: Functionality and longevity. This in some cases sacrifices the aesthetic and “quality of life” details in exchange for the much cheaper prices of their devices.

With this desire to enter the world of smartphone production and sales, Motorola has created several low-end lines. The successor to the Motorola E5, the E6, was recently launched.

Both are highly functional and affordable, but not necessarily beautiful. Unlike its predecessor, however, the E6 was not accompanied by more elegant versions, as the E5 did with its Plus and Play presentations.

Shortly afterward – in September – Motorola presented the E6 Plus version of its latest device as if they had read the thoughts of their buyers. But a successor to E5 Play was still missing, which – until now – looked as if it wouldn’t come.

According to the rendered images filtered on the web, it’s quite possible that the company is working on it right now. As far as you can see from them, Motorola can make a little extra effort to make the computer not only useful but also more pleasing to the eye.

Among the features it seems to offer is the presence of a 3.5mm USB-C port for connecting headphones – a detail its brother, the E6 Plus, doesn’t share. So far, the company has made no specific statements. But it wouldn’t be surprising if they soon unveiled to the public the arrival of the latest model of this famous trilogy, which seems to promise to be one of the company’s best performing.
