We are a couple of months from Samsung announcing its new flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 +. But we already know a lot about the two devices.
For example, we know that both will arrive with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 845 processor, at least in certain regions. Since the Snapdragon 845 is Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset to date. Also, the performance of the Galaxy S9 and S9 + should be superior to any previous Samsung phone and, possibly, to any other Android phone above.
Now it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S9 + has been seen in the benchmarking site Geekbench. That shows the muscle of its Snapdragon 845 processor.
As you can see in the attached screenshot, the Samsung Galaxy S9 + (model number SM-G965) gets a score with a single core of 2,422, and with multiple cores of 8,351.
So far, Samsung’s best smartphones scored around 2,000 on the performance of a single core and 6,500 on the multi-core test.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 would have a version with 512GB
This new GeekBench test also shows that the Galaxy S9 + runs Android 8 Oreo, and has 6 GB of RAM.
