The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and its S-Pen have been talked about before, showing one of the first promotional images of this phone with its S-Pen, now, gradually, we are detailing some of its technical aspects.
The Galaxy Note 9 will have a large battery size
According to the National Telecommunications Agency of Brazil, it is confirmed that the battery of the Galaxy Note 9 is going to be pretty big, about 4000 mAh.
The certification document does not reveal much, but it confirms one of the main features of the Galaxy Note 9 compared to its predecessor: the 4,000 mAh battery. Rumors about the large capacity of the battery have been circulating since April and this was later confirmed by a different source in June. Now, a month later, ANATEL is here to officially confirm it.
A large battery means longer battery life, more hours of use without having to charge it, an advantage that everyone is looking for when choosing a phone. In addition, a phone the size of the Galaxy Note 9 also consumes a lot of battery power, so it must have a matching size battery.
We believe there is nothing more legitimate than this confirmation. We expect the large battery to come with some competing charging technology or at least with support for Quick Charge 4.0 or later, as we know that the wireless charger that will be inserted next to the phone will not bring any particularly’innovative’ charging speed.
