While an OLED screen adds to the laptop’s appeal, it also contributes to its high cost. However, the choice of pairing it with an RTX 4050 may not resonate well with potential buyers. Below are the detailed specifications of this Samsung laptop that has landed in China, though its availability in other regions remains uncertain. I’ve encountered a few laptops from this brand, so my expectations are tempered.

The model name is 960XGL, equipped with Windows 11 Professional, Meteor Lake architecture, and a 16-inch OLED display boasting a resolution of 2880×1800 and 120 Hz. It appears to offer various configurations with Intel Core 100, accompanied by an RTX 4050, 32 GB LPDDR5 at 7467 MHz, and 1 TB of storage.

This Core Ultra 7 155H, the main highlight, is expected to have a reduced TDP of 45W. There are already images of the laptop opened, provided by Chinese sellers on the Goofish Marketplace.

Features include Wi-Fi 6E and high-definition audio, but details about Bluetooth, webcam, or output ports are yet to be disclosed.

The specific RTX 4050 variant remains unknown, but there are indications of a version with RTX 4070. Additionally, the cooling system of the Samsung Book 4 Ultra is expected to be noteworthy, potentially improved but resembling the offering of the Book 3 Pro.

6 GB VRAM is confirmed, providing an insight into the laptop’s performance. It seems poised to compete with Apple’s MacBook Pro lineup powered by M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Ultra.
