All indications shows that this future prediction of Samsung’s mobile is approaching and as they have just announced through CNBC, the CEO of the company’s mobile division has confirmed that they will present a foldable smartphone this year.
According to CNBC, Koh Dong-Jin himself told the publication team that the project is completely real and at a very advanced stage of development that approaches an official announcement time. In addition, the discussion with the CEO gave rise to interesting details. For example, Koh said that the idea behind the device came from various surveys by Samsung, which showed that there is a market for a smartphone of this type.
In a conversation with CNBC, Koh Dong-Jin also talked about the terminal designing process, focusing on the importance of differentiating the user experience from that of a tablet with the terminal unfolded.
