An XFX RX 6700 XL graphics card with around 10 GB of VRAM memory and a stripped-down Navi 22 GPU has been spotted. This model was originally intended for miners, but now it seems to be coming for the gamer segment.
RX 6700 XL with 10 GB VRAM and slimmed down Navi 22 seen
Some RX 6700 XL graphics cards can be found on the second-hand market. One of the first models spotted is this one from XFX, which features a triple fan design. This model was never released on the market and was sold directly for mining.
The name of the model in question can be clearly seen on the product label, which confirms that it is a Radeon RX 6700 XL with 10 GB of VRAM.
The cooler clearly says QICK, but the labels say SWFT (309). These are two different series under the XFX brand, so this particular model appears to use different materials from two different XFX series for the gaming segment.
The XFX RX 6700 XL graphics card has a thickness of 2.5 slots and requires two 8-pin connectors for power. Performance should be slightly lower than the RX 6700 XT and similar to the RX 6700 as it has 2304 cores, which are the same cores as the RX 6700. VRAM memory would also be similar at 10 GB. However, we would have to look at the reviews on synthetic data or games to see how big the performance difference is between the three models mentioned.
